About our organization:
The mission of the Williamsburg Aviation Scholarship Program (WASP) is to create career
opportunities in aviation, help build and sustain local aviation interest, and support national programs designed to do the same. WASP funds flight training for high school age students who are pursuing an aviation career. Recipients are fully funded up to 50 flight hours towards earning their private pilot certificate and are composed of students who have demonstrated diligence in their schoolwork, a passion for flying and could otherwise not afford the training.

APPLICANTS MUST BE VIRGINIA RESIDENTS, ATTENDING HIGH SCHOOL (INCLUDING HOME SCHOOL) IN THE TIDEWATER AREA, AND TURN 16 YEARS OLD NO LATER THAN JUNE 1, 2025.
TRANSCRIPTS: Please upload a scanned copy of your transcripts. Most schools will give you a student review copy. You will not be able to submit an application without this file attached.
